Boldo, a tree of the family Monimiaceae, is natively endemic to South America and grows in indigenous and temperate areas across the Andean regions of Chile and Argentina and in the southern mountain range of Peru.

From pre-Columbian times, the fruit of this tree has been eaten either raw or cooked.

Both, bark and leaves are used. Boldo is rich in Essential Oils such as Cineole, Eucalyptol and Ascaridiol, as well as Flavonoids and Tannins.

We have selected a Boldo Glycerinated Extract with a 1:5 ratio.

This means that for each gram of Extract we have used 5 grams of fresh plant. Besides, our Boldo Glycerinated Extract is titrated in Boldine 0,5 mg/ml, providing 1.5 mg per day.
